Now that we are one Macy's, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and understanding during our transition from regional divisions into one Macy's. We would also like to clarify our new merchandise purchasing process because, as one national Macy's store organization, we are no longer using Macy's East, Macy's West, Macy's Central, Macy's Florida or Macy's Home Store as divisional purchasing entities. Rather, Macy's Merchandising Corporation (MMC), will be the single purchaser in place of those divisional entities. MMC will be using the former Macy's EAST EDI communication Ids and all labels and invoices should reflect our new MMC purchaser name (i.e., MMC or Macy's) in place of the old divisional entities.

Please remember:

  • That the Macy's conversion did not impact Bloomingdale's, bloomingdales.com and/or macys.com.
  • That there are also no changes as to Macy's Merchandising Group (MMG) EXCEPT for new Macy's store location numbers that will require you to pay strict attention to and follow your purchase order documents.
  • To continue following all EDI documentation in accordance with the Macy's Vendor Standards as posted at macysnet.com, including the applicable purchase orders, which are your guide as to where and to whom you must ship goods.
