Lowe's BizManager Upgrade

posted Apr 19, 2010, 8:03 AM by Unknown user   [ updated Apr 19, 2010, 8:13 AM ]

Lowe's will be implementing a new release of our EDI-INT communications package for our production system during the next several months. Lowe's will be migrating to Inovis BizManager Version 3.2.2. Please verify that your communication software is compatible with this version of BizManager software.

Lowe's will temporarily suspend processing of all outbound EDI transactions over the internet during this conversion. A detailed conversion schedule will be provided as the migration times are finalized.  All real-time and batch transactions from Lowe’s will be accumulated during the down time and transmitted when the connection is reactivated.

Digital Certificate / URL / AS2 ID
Please note there are no changes to the Lowe’s digital certificate, URL or AS2 Identifier related to this conversion.  All other communication settings (encryption, etc.) will also remain the same.

What can partners do to help? (We will not be testing with individual trading partners)

Again, please verify that your communication software is compatible with Inovis BizManager Version 3.2.2 software. To confirm that your current software was Drummond certified during the last interoperability testing, please visit the Drummond Group website (www.drummondgroup.com) and check the AS2 Interoperability list for your software version. If it is not on the list, please migrate your software to a version that has been Drummond Certified.

When the conversion details are finalized, please make certain that you pick up and/or processed all transactions before the conversion and have sent back MDN’s as soon as possible.   Please monitor all of your outbound transactions sent to Lowe’s after the conversion to make sure that you receive successful MDN’s.  After the conversion is complete, Lowe’s will continue to monitor all outbound transactions for receipt of successful MDN’s.

Please contact your Lowe's EDI Coordinator if you have any questions. A contact list for the Lowe’s EDI team is available on the LowesLink® website (www.loweslink.com, EDI Tab / Lowe’s EDI / EDI Quick Reference document).
